Travelers Rest.  That's what the retired sailor that built this home called it when he moved in 86 years ago.  Now, it's still restful, a step back in time.  Timeless.  Well preserved.

The floors are oak, the shutters are cedar, the kitchen to die for!  Can't you see your friends gathered around on a merry evening?

In back the old garage has found new life as an art studio.  It has a pair of heat pumps and french doors.  The wall dividing the center is not a load bearing wall but was put up to hold more paintings.  This can be your exercise room, office, guest or man cave.  Low maintenance yard front and back.

Easy walk to downtown shopping, dining, and park.  There is open land trust on the river bank just a block away.

I've incuded pictures, but you really need to experience this home.  Go on, hit the contact button... we'll make an appointment to give you your own personal tour.  You'll love it!

I have always like the look of a true craftsman home.  Thanks for showing this one on AR.

Nice Listing, Craftsman homes are hard to find. I've been to Beaufort while in the Marine Corp. Somehow I look at Beaufort differently now :-). ~Captain Wayne~
